The challenge of this very special project: transform the apartment and the annex garage of a private mansion on the Champs de Mars into a functional and elegant duplex for this American couple.

Faced with the multiple constraints of the location (different floor and ceiling heights, blind rooms, small volumes), a complete renovation was necessary: the water features had to be moved and the volumes redesigned.

Finally, Céline Coucaud decided to focus on unexpected lighting effects and material effects (moiré, patinas) to recreate a warm and easy-to-live-in decor from scratch, thus perfectly meeting the owners' expectations.
