John & Olga - Moscow
A Plush Setting in Moscow

An unusual constraint for Céline Coucaud: to glamorize a rather dull, black and white apartment near Red Square in Moscow, while retaining the layout of the rooms and most of the owners' furniture.

The Decorator's idea from the start was to recreate an eclectic universe that would perfectly reflect the multiculturalism of the American-Russian owners.

The selection of furniture thus focused on both iconic pieces of contemporary design and second-hand pieces. A monumental triptych was thus commissioned from the artist Olivia Bloch-Lainé .

By mixing luxurious materials (mohair velvet, veined oak and walnut, Afghan wool rugs, embroidered fabrics, dressing room doors covered in brocade-effect fabrics, kitchen dressed in Calacatta marble, etc.) and bright colors, Céline Coucaud has succeeded in creating a luxurious and unique setting, to the great delight of its inhabitants!
